Donald Trump in IN accuses China of ‘raping’ the United States over trade
Mr Trump has long criticised China, claiming it has kept its currency at an unnaturally low level to boost its exports to the U.S., which also damages the prospects of United States firms selling their goods to China. “We’re like the piggy bank that’s being robbed. We have a lot of power with China”, Trump said according to Politico.

For her part, Mrs Clinton told thousands at an NAACP dinner in Detroit on Sunday that U.S. president Barack Obama’s legacy can not be allowed to “fall into Donald Trump’s hands” and be consumed by “these voices of hatred”.
Having lambasted China over its trade deals with the country, Trump went on to promise supporters that he’d turn it all around.
There was no immediate response from Beijing to Mr Trump’s comments.
Numbers reported by the BBC reveal that the USA trade deficit to China reached an all-time high of $365.7bn (£250.1bn) last year, and has already reached $57bn in February of this year. He also claimed that China was “killing” the USA on trade.
He added that he was not angry with at China, but with the USA leaders whom he accused of being grossly incompetent.
Trump arrived in Indianapolis to start campaigning the day after winning his home-state NY primary weeks ago and began spending money on television advertising far sooner than he did in Wisconsin. He questioned why Cruz was focusing so much effort in blue-collar northern in, where Trump is popular, instead of the voter-rich suburban counties that ring the state capital.
Trump has a wide lead in IN, 49 percent to Sen.
Mr Cruz has no such cushion.
Donald Trump spoke at a rally Sunday in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He aggressively attacked Cruz on Sunday, suggesting evangelical conservatives have “fallen out of love with him” and mocked his decision to announce former GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina as his running mate.
But many Republican delegates and party officials seem to be following public opinion, and say they are ready to move on to unite behind someone – including Mr Trump – so that the party is not hopelessly divided going into the general election.
Trump has 996 delegates, according to the Associated Press. We actually had three different polls in the field at the same time and unfortunately we wanted to get the information out on Friday, and we couldn’t get clarification from the call center which calls were completed on which days. “And he did”, said Mr Jonathan Barnett, the Republican national committeeman in Arkansas.
