Donald Trump interested in vetting John Kasich as his deputy

Governor John Kasich of OH has announced to drop out of the Republican presidential race, leaving alone Donald Trump who is now the party’s presumptive nominee for the November 8 general elections in the US.

Kasich has not yet responded to Trump’s remarks but in the past he has publicly criticized Trump’s rhetoric and policy proposals.

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Chris Vance says he won’t vote for GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump this fall.

“To me, this is the classic case of a blustering, bullying guy”, the all-but-certain Democratic nominee told CNN.

The Trump campaign also named Steven Mnuchin as its national finance chairman yesterday, saying in a statement that “he brings unprecedented experience and expertise to a fundraising operation that will benefit the Republican Party and ultimately defeat Hillary Clinton”. “We’re going to work with the party to raise money for down-ballot races to be successful”, said Corey Lewandowski, Mr Trump’s campaign manager.

Long said a similar scenario played out among establishment Republicans in the 1980 presidential election when some warned that Ronald Reagan would be “a divisive drag on the whole GOP ticket”.

Backers said Trump could mend ties with allies of Cruz, who had been his strongest challenger. Let them go their own way.

Two thirds (65 percent) of voters have unfavorable opinions of the Republican billionaire, and only a quarter (24 percent) think positively of him, according to a recent Wall Street Journal/NBC survey. Will he still be able to withhold his endorsement, even after he runs the roll call that makes Trump the nominee? “And people are sending a message to Washington that we need to learn from and listen to”. “While I am flattered to be mentioned and proud of what that says about the great things going on in SC, my plate is full and I am not interested in serving as vice president”. A lot of that was pushed by the EU.

“As I suspend my campaign today, I have renewed faith, deeper faith, that the Lord will show me the way forward and fulfill the goal of my life”, he said.

“Well I think we are perpetuating the political revolution by significantly increasing the level of political activity that we’re seeing in this country”, Sanders responded. “We anticipate the two meeting soon to begin to help unite the party”, said RNC spokeswoman Lindsay Walters.

Sources with the governor’s team, after winning only the GOP primary in Kasich’s home state, told CNN that he had wanted to continue the campaign but overnight he changed his mind and chose to end his effort.
