Trump edges Cruz by 28 percent to 26 percent in Iowa, according to a poll released Tuesday by Public Policy Polling. “He’s welcome to toss whatever attack he wants”, Cruz said.
For the past week, Trump has said that Cruz should go to court and seek a judgment to resolve the matter of his eligibility for the presidency.
Trump says “the whole game has become screwed up” because “football has become soft like the country has become soft”. “Donald comes from NY and he embodies NY values”, Cruz said, adding that “The Donald seems to be a little bit rattled” over his position in the polls. But like Macbeth, who feared no man “of woman born”, Cruz is finding that technicalities can be troublesome.
The fact of the matter is that there is a constitutionally discernible distinction between an individual who is born in the United States and under its jurisdiction, and an individual who is born on foreign soil, that is to say, outside of the United States and not under its jurisdiction-even if the latter was born to an American citizen parent. “I’m doing it for the party, and I’m doing it for the Ted”, Trump later said.
Trump has questioned the crowd at rallies in the past few days over whether Cruz is eligible – they shout, “No!”

Trump is being helped in New Hampshire by his strong push on national security and terrorism, as 35 percent say that they’re basing their vote on that issue. Though the primary season actually ends on June 7, the results of the first few primaries will likely give us the likely name of the Republican nominee for November’s election.
