Spanish singer Julio Iglesias is cutting ties with GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump.

The 72-year-old, who is the father of pop sensation Enrique Iglesias, called the bombastic candidate an “a-hole” and said he will no longer perform in any Trump-owned casinos. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. “I think his brain and his heart are not connected right now”.
“I will never again play in his casinos”, the singer said, saying that Trump’s position on immigration wasn’t correct.
“He’s a clown”, Iglesias continued, adding, “and my apologies to the clowns”. “I’ve met Trump three or four times because I’ve played his places”, Iglesias said.
Trump’s spokesperson issued his response: “Good, I don’t like his voice or his performances anymore, anyhow!” “I’m 72 years old and I’m maybe the biggest Latino artist in history”.
Since comparing undocumented immigrants to “rapists” in a speech, Trump has sparked worldwide ire for his rhetoric. “At my age it’s too late to embrace situations just to gain something”.
His latest album Mexico features 12 songs with a Mexican flavor and pays tribute to the country’s great songwriters.
Iglesias, who has sold roughly 300 million albums in a career than spans nearly five decades, is known for his romantic ballads.
Trump’s comments have previously been criticized by stars including Ricky Martin, Eva Longoria and America Ferrera, while bosses at NBC also chose to drop their coverage of the businessman’s beauty pageants in the aftermath of the controversy. He has called for the mass deportation of illegal immigrants.

Despite a vow to win the Latino vote, Trump is viewed unfavorably by 82 percent of Hispanics, according to a September poll by the Washington Post and ABC News.
