Donald Trump Is Beat by Ted Cruz in New National GOP Poll

“I think somebody at Wall Street Journal doesn’t like me but I never do well with the Wall Street Journal poll”, Trump said in response to the new data.

Republican pollster Bill McInturff, who conducted this survey with Democratic pollster Peter Hart and his firm Hart Research Associates, says Trump’s drop could signal being “right on top of a shift in the campaign”.

The next-closest would be U.S. Sen. “When I was leading big last month in the Wall Street Journal you couldn’t even find it. You couldn’t even find it”.

Not having heard Trump’s border plans independently, Francis said he’d “give him the benefit of the doubt”. I’m just doing the best I can.

“I have to say to Mr. Trump you have been threatening frivolous lawsuits for your entire adult life”, Cruz said at a press conference on Wednesday.

Trump has continued to dominate the next two Republican contests, however, according to a pair of CNN/ORC polls released this week. 14% of Democrats pulled remain undecided. Carson led Trump, 29 percent to 23 percent, in an October 25-29 NBC/Journal poll.

Cruz was expectedly all smiles at the latest poll, telling supporters in Spartanburg, South Carolina, “The sound you’re hearing is the sound of screams coming from Washington, D.C”. Lee said both Cruz and Rubio “would do a really good job uniting the party”. She’s very, very weak on illegal immigration.

Rubio, a Catholic, added that he has “tremendous respect and admiration” for the Pope and that “there’s no nation on earth that’s more compassion on immigration than we are”. “However, when I saw Gowdy and Scott and the governor come out; that sealed the deal for me”, said rally attendee Shena Hendrix.

Cruz is attempting to exploit a new issue – the fate of the Supreme Court vacancy left behind by the sudden passing of conservative Justice Antonin Scalia – to make gains in advance of this weekend’s South Carolina Republican primary. Cruz’s win in the Iowa caucuses was fueled by a similar coalition of evangelical support. John Kasich (11 percent) has now risen to a virtual third-place tie with Marco Rubio (12 percent).

Sanders is working to raise his support among blacks and Hispanics. “We can protect ourselves from terrorism and also protect our civil rights”.
