Another prominent Republican and business leader has come out strongly against Donald Trump.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump today said his infrastructure investment plan would pour in at least double the funding that his opponent, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has envisioned in an infrastructure plan of her own. Super PACs are groups that can raise unlimited amounts of money, but aren’t allowed to coordinate with campaigns.

Republicans said that Clinton’s history and high negative numbers among Republicans make it unlikely she’ll find many cross-over voters.

Trump’s comments “create a clear and present danger”, says Hayden.

The survey also showed the unpopularity of the Republican nominee’s recent scuffles in the media, particularly Trump’s feud with the father of a Muslim-American soldier killed in Iraq.

Whitman was a leading fundraiser for Romney’s 2008 presidential campaign and was a chairwoman of Gov. Chris Christie’s presidential finance team this year. “I think Mr. Trump is profoundly unqualified and proves that every day”, said Hanna.

The Democratic convention last week featured several Republican speakers who pledged their support for Clinton, including Democrat-turned-Republican-turned-independent former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Syracuse.com reported that Hanna said in an interview he considered supporting Clinton for months, but chose to take action after watching Trump criticise the Muslim American parents of a USA soldier killed in Iraq.

In a phone interview with The New York Times, Whitman clarified that her support for Clinton won’t just be at the ballot box – it will be monetary as well.
