The Trump family wasn’t the only zany surprise of the night.

The Trump clan wasn’t the only surprise. Melania Trump asked the crowd to loud cheers.

After asking if the man, whose real name is Terri Silliman, was married and if his wife was happy with her husband, Trump exclaimed “she fantasizes that he’s really the real Donald Trump”. He complimented the imitator’s blond wig, calling it a “big, handsome head of hair”.

Event organizers expect more than 8,000 people for Trump’s rally, with the candidate’s camp prepared to make more space, but thousands were already in the Myrtle Beach Convention Center hours before the assembly was to begin.

But a Senate Intelligence Committee report released last December on the CIA’s use of “enhanced interrogation techniques” such as waterboarding determined the practice was largely ineffective and resulted in false and fabricated confessions and information.

GOP rival Jeb Bush spoke out against Trump’s claims on Tuesday, saying if there were cheers of any kind the celebrations “would have been on television, it would have been recorded”, according to ABC.

One local political science expert says he believes one thing was missing from Trump’s appearance. On Tuesday he said the practice, which is considered torture by worldwide conventions, delivered al-Qaeda’s now deceased leader to the U.S.
