Donald Trump Jr. Jokes About ‘Gas Chamber’ in Radio Interview

Doctors for both Hillary Clinton and now Donald Trump say the candidates are physically fit to serve as president. NPR’s Richard Harris has the details. While he has talked about his family members’ alcoholism and Alzheimer’s disease, the letter did not address those issues in his family health history. This year – no surprise – the matter has become nasty. The Republican National Committee released a response to Clinton’s visit.

“From now until November 8, everywhere I go I’m going to talk about my ideas for our country”, Clinton said, using the distraction of pneumonia to pivot to a message focused on children and families. Clinton is set to return to the campaign trail today after a three-day absence, and her physician wrote that she is “recovering well with antibiotics and rest”.

Hours earlier, his campaign released the letter from Bronstein to media outlets. The show will air on Thursday, Sept. 15.

In the letter Trump teased on The Dr. Oz Show – before handing it to Oz, Trump asked the studio audience whether he should hand it over, and did so after they cheered – Bornstein said Trump has only been hospitalized once, as a child when he had a routine appendectomy. What do you see? The New York Times reported that in 1997 Trump went around asking strangers if the then 16-year-old Ivanka was hot, ‘Don’t you think my daughter’s hot?

But the Republican presidential candidate told the doctor that he wants to “lose a little weight” as he weighs in at 236 pounds for his 6’3 frame. “Without the media, this wouldn’t even be a contest”, Trump Jr. said.

Trump smiled, having last March dispatched debate about his “hand” size, when it came up during one of the GOP debates.

The campaign statement followed an interview published by The Washington Post in which Trump declined to say whether he believes Obama was born in Hawaii.

So there you have it, Trump is indeed fit to be president – as far as his health is concerned.

“The only people who get rich under Hillary Clinton’s scheme are the donors and the special interests.” he said.

HARRIS: That is not a realistic way to keep physically fit.

Donald Trump says he feels like a man half his age.

He first revealed the letter, which is dated 13 September, in his appearance on The Dr Oz Show.

Trump Jr’s poor taste comments come as both his father and rival Clinton face pressure to share more medical information after the Democratic candidate fell ill during a 9/11 ceremony in NY on Sunday morning.
