Donald Trump leaps ahead of Hillary Clinton in new poll

Although there are many voters in MI that feel disaffected and distrustful in the government – the types of voters Trump is looking to attract – the Clinton campaign’s MI activity shows the extensive experience she has in campaign planning. That’s much closer than the early August poll, where Feingold led by 11 points among likely voters.

Clinton and Trump are tied at 46 percent in a SC poll conducted by Reuters/IPSOS. However, many states report the party affiliation of people who have cast ballots, offering solid clues.

Overall, the poll showed Clinton (48 percent) with a 7-point lead over Trump (41 percent) nationwide in a head-to-head race.

As of Aug 26, the separate Reuters/Ipsos States of the Nation polling project estimated that Mrs Clinton was on track to win the Electoral College, by about 332 votes to 206. Those numbers were scheduled to be updated later Friday.

That stands in contrast to Mr. Trump’s assertion that all immigrants living in the United States illegally must go back to their home countries.

McCain’s five-minute video, posted on his campaign website and social media, does not mention Trump by name.

Trump, meanwhile, has reshuffled his campaign leadership and sought to broaden his appeal to moderate Republicans and minorities. Each of those groups is closely divided on which candidate would better handle securing the border.

On Saturday, Trump spoke at a majority black church in Detroit.

Trump then moved onto a different topic, WSJ reported. “And there is some evidence the approach is working”. Clinton has repeatedly said Trump lacks the temperament and knowledge to become president, while he points to what USA investigators say was her “extremely careless” handling of classified material on the unsecured, private email server she used while she was the country’s top diplomat during Obama’s first term from 2009 to 2013.

The UPI/CVoter online tracking poll surveys at least 200 people each day, leading to a sample size of roughly 1,400 people during any seven-day span. The first question on these polls is “Would you support Clinton or Trump?”

“Clinton is fuelled by strong support from the East and West Coast regions and by women across the nation”, said David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Centre in Boston.

“There has been a closing that’s completely natural”, Sabato said. Clinton led by 8 points last week, according to NBC.

The Green Party also has a U.S. Senate candidate, former Eagle County Commissioner Arn Menconi, and a challenger to Republican incumbent Mike Coffman and Democrat Morgan Carroll in the 6th Congressional District race – Aurora resident Robert Lee Worthey.

The Libertarian Party – championing limited-government ideals – may seem to be the obvious choice for conservative voters who dislike Trump, but North said disaffected Bernie Sanders supporters have also shown interest in Johnson.

What if? There's still time for drama before Election Day
