Donald Trump: Life hasn’t been easy

“You want me to go back?'”

“My whole life really has been a “no” and I fought through it”, Trump told NBC’s Matt Lauer.

“It’s not been easy for me”, he said. “I started off in Brooklyn, my father gave me a small loan of $1 million”.

Trump said his mop – and whether or not it’s all natural – is the biggest misconception about him in the eyes of the public. “My father gave me a small loan of a million dollars”, says the real estate mogul.

Donald Trump, as you may have heard, is quite wealthy.

This would suggest that, per the freedom of religion and personal choice normally afforded in liberal democratic countries, any sort of law pertaining to the way women of a particular religion dress is highly suspect. She challenged him to share with the public one of his weaknesses, as if she were auditioning to be Dr. Phil’s permanent guest host.

Yet another attendee said people think he’s too “harsh” to be POTUS. “I really am a nice person”, Trump insisted. “I love people. It’s not going to be this time about “niceness.’ It’s going to be about competence. And I did great”.

“You can’t think of anything that’s made you feel guilty?” Lauer said with barely concealed disappointment.

Trump then got into his immigration plan, saying the first thing he will do a build a “wall”.

The today show offered town halls to the front runners from both parties.

Trump is in a small group of candidates who have not yet notched True ratings (though his record is more remarkable because we have fact-checked him more often).

At the town hall with 125 voters, Trump fielded questions – including one about his humility.

Trump’s latest controversial dig at Bush came at the expense of his famous older brother, former President George W. Bush, over the September 11, 2001, attacks.

“You understand”, Trump said, pointing to the student. The country already has “tremendous regulations” on guns and doesn’t need any more, he said.

When pushed further he explained he planned to lower taxes and renegotiate trade deals.

Trump’s campaign didn’t respond to CNN’s question about when his father gave him the $1 million loan – though it appears to have happened before Trump entered the Manhattan real estate market in the early 1970s. “And I’ll get along with him probably”.

In the end, Trump got to keep the money but had to pay a $30,000 fine.

When the kid pressed for details of his plan, Trump said detailed plans put out by politicians running for POTUS are horseradish. Because point two gets loused up and now you have to go to a different point two. And it’s the same with deals. “He’s going to find out that we’re the gatekeepers to the White House”.
