Donald Trump: Make Miss Colombia And Miss Philippines ‘Co-Winners’
Miss Universe Emcee Steve Harvey announced the wrong victor for the Miss Universe 2015 pageant as Miss Colombia.

Host Steve Harvey says he made a mistake and didn’t read the card correctly when he announced that the contestant from Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo, had won.
Natalia Cruz, the interviewer, asked Riek why she and the other candidates went directly to Miss Colombia after Pia Wurtzbach was crowned as Miss Universe. Vega then returned to the stage, took away the crown from Guiterrez and placed it on the head of Wurtzbach, who looked equally shocked as the others.
Harveytook to Twitter to say: “I’d like to apologise wholeheartedly to Miss Colombia & Miss Philippines for my huge mistake”.
“I have to apologize”, Harvey said, and continued to tell millions of people on national television that Miss Philippines, Mia Wurtzbach, was the real pageant victor. The host of Miss Universe messed up the victor and crowned the runner-up.
Colombia lost its third Miss Universe within a matter of seconds. Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach of the Philippines was equally stunned and at a loss of what to do.
Clearly mortified at his mistake, Harvey, who was hosting the competition for the first time, immediately apologised for his error after the award ceremony closed.
Colombian dailies, meanwhile, carried headlines of the freaky incident, saying that Gutierrez has been a Miss Universe “for two minutes”.
Many on social media share distaste for Miss Germany’s reaction.
According to the Guardian, Alonzo Wurtbach wished Miss Colombia well and said, “I’m very sorry”.
