Donald Trump mixes up ‘9/11’ with ‘7/11’ day before New York primary

Ted Cruz trails businessman Donald Trump in California polls, but Team Cruz argues that the Texas senator is well-positioned to grab delegates because of superior organization.

He accepted an award from the New York Veteran Police Association during his visit to Staten Island, a stronghold of his support, and spoke at a party brunch.

Those delegates are free to choose their own candidate in a second vote and could quickly change their vote if Trump is unable to secure a majority of delegates in the first round.

What time are the polling places open/closed? Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam and Erie polls will open at 6 a.m.-9 p.m. (EST) all other counties will have polling hours between noon and 9 p.m. (EST).

What do the polls say?

“I don’t want to waste millions of dollars going out to Wyoming many months before to wine and dine and to essentially pay off all these people because a lot of it’s a pay-off”, Trump said on Fox News Saturday morning, justifying his decision to essentially skip the state.

It’s a common phrase in a tough election to say someone’s choosing between the “lesser of two evils” when it comes to candidates-and new polling indicates that voters largely see themselves facing that kind of choice in the general election this fall.

Trump has attacked the process as “rigged” and vowed to win the 1,237 delegates needed to capture the Republican nomination outright.

Polls have shown Trump easily defeating his rivals, and he stands to pick up a huge chunk of delegates from a big win in the state.

The 10 Congressional District Democratic Committee will select their delegates May 14. On the Republican side, there are 95 delegates in play. If the statewide victor receives more than 50 percent of the votes, he receives 13 delegates. “And his explanation was, ‘Hey-I’m from NY”. “We’ve won five states in a row in landslides over and over and over again”.

“All nominees for President must have voted in a Republican nomination process in at least one of the last eight years prior to 2016”.

The three voting delegates who received the most votes are: state Sen. As of Monday, there are 854 Republican delegates yet to be alloted. At the race’s current pace, Trump would need a sizable win there – as well as strong performances in between – to clinch the nomination outright.
