Donald Trump: No Proof That Putin Kills Journalists
Last week, Putin praised the real-estate magnate as “bright and talented” and “the absolute leader of the presidential race”.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump defended Vladimir Putin over the weekend, discounting allegations that the Russian president has been linked to the killing of journalists.
“As far as the reporters are concerned – as far as the reporters are concerned, obviously I don’t want that to happen”, Trump assured Stephanopolous. The Republican frontrunner, during an MSNBC interview, was asked about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s habit of allegedly invading countries and killing critics. Trump also said he wondered why the protesters would bother standing up and drawing attention to themselves “in a group of 9,000 maniacs that want to kill them”, referring to the crowd.
Stephanopoulos said, “Here’s what Mitt Romney tweeted, ‘there’s an important distinction, thug Putin kills journalists and opponents our presidents kill terrorists and enemy combatants”.
Still, Trump has stuck with Putin – who, like Trump, was also interviewed on the episode of CBS’ “60 Minutes” that drew the program’s highest-ever ratings this fall.
Trump: “He’s running his country and at least he’s a leader, unlike what we have in this country”.
George Bush may have had a sense of his soul, and Barack Obama may have wanted a reset, but Donald Trump wants you to take Vladimir Putin at his word.
“But I do hate some of them”, he added, calling some reporters “such lying, disgusting people”.
Trump added: “It would be so great if we could get Russian Federation on our side, and other countries on our side, and knock the hell out of ISIS”. “If he has killed reporters, I think that’s bad”, Trump said.
“It’s never been proven that he’s killed anybody. I don’t know I don’t think anybody knows that”, Trump insisted. “We’re killing people. They’re killing people”.
“To pay a compliment to this KGB murderer [Vladimir Putin] is something that I just can’t find in any way plausible and is incomprehensible”, McCain said. “I really don’t see Putin – maybe I’m wrong – but I really don’t see him being ‘oh, Americans are our friends now'”.
Donald Trump unleashed a firestorm of criticism from liberals, conservatives and those in between when he called for a ban on Muslims entering the United States. I don’t know that he killed reporters.
Trump said, “Excuse me Iran has been backed by us. You know, we’re always fighting”.
“What killing sanctioned by the United States government is like killing journalists?”

“We have never brandished or will brandish this nuclear club, but our military doctrine allocates it a place and role”, Putin said. “He’s not going to mention them, so they’re jealous as hell”.
