Donald Trump opposes placing Harriet Tubman on $20 note
That woman was Martha Washington, the wife of America’s first president George Washington.

An 11-year-old MA girl may have been the driving force behind the Treasury Department’s move to put a woman on the $20 bill.
But a recent report said that this is no cause for outright celebration since the fight to give the proper honor to Tubman isn’t over yet.
“The college, which is named for the first US secretary of the Treasury who also served as its first trustee, also supports Secretary Lew’s intent to add illustrious women in USA history on the $10 bill and to honor Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill”, said the message.
And there was a bit of chatter around the fact that Hamilton-creator Lin Manuel Miranda actually lobbied to keep one man on US currency, Alexander Hamilton himself. Striking Jackson completely from the $20 bill would mean running from our sometimes heroic, sometimes flawed history.
Native American Sacagawea has been featured on the gold dollar coin since 1999, and suffragist Susan B. Anthony has appeared on the silver dollar coin since 1979.
On many occasions, Tubman brought runaway slaves to a church called Salem Chapel in St. Catharines, Ontario.
Born a slave in 1822, Tubman was whipped and abused by various “masters” as a child.
As a teenager, Tubman received a blow to the head that would cause her seizures, vivid dreams, and hallucinations throughout her life.
One part of her story few know about is her connection to our neighbor farther north, Canada.
This report went on to say: “The problem however, is that Harriet Tubman was an illiterate woman who did not write down her story”. She made that trip about 20 times to lead more people to freedom. “Conservative, wealthy people reacted against him because he was not of their class, but he’s fully appropriate to be on American currency”.

Excitement is pouring in from around the world, from politicians like Hillary Clinton who tweeted “I can’t think of a better choice for the $20” to celebrities, Steve Harvey said “I’m gonna need my pockets full of Tubmans!” Move over Andrew Jackson – the seventh president of the United States will no longer grace the front of the bill. Cavuto asked, presumably meaning anti-putting-Tubman-on-the-$20-bill and not anti-Tubman, just, in general.
