Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton email remark

U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton says Russian intelligence services hacked into Democratic National Committee (DNC) computers and has accused Republican contender Donald Trump of backing Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Donald Trump backtracked on claims that he’s had “a relationship” with Russian President Vladimir Putin amid questions about his embrace of a traditional US adversary at a time Russia’s been implicated in hacking Democratic Party computers.

Hillary Clinton says Trump has “shown a very troubling willingness to back up Putin”.

“The people of Crimea, from what I’ve heard, would rather be with Russia”, Trump said.

“But you know, the people of Crimea, from what I’ve heard, would rather be with Russian Federation than where they were”, Trump said.

But the meeting never happened when Mr Trump arrived late into Moscow and Mr Putin’s schedule also changed.

Yet more serious, perhaps, was his answer to a question of whether, as president, he would recognize Russia’s claim to Crimea and lift sanctions imposed after Russian Federation annexed the Ukrainian territory in 2014: “Yes”.

“Mrs. Clinton wasn’t known for an elegant turn of phrase before”, Putin said.

“I think he’s done really a great job of outsmarting our country”, Trump told Larry King after Putin successfully dissuaded the USA from striking Syria by arranging with the us for the removal of Syria’s chemical weapons. “But I think laying out the facts raises serious issues about Russian interference in our elections, in our democracy”, she added. He spoke at the RNC but recently criticized some of the campaign’s foreign policy positions, reinforcing the notion the GOP is splintered under Trump’s inflammatory leadership. “I would suggest to the intelligence agencies, if you’re forced to brief this guy, don’t tell him anything, just fake it, because this man is risky”, Reid told the Huffington Post.

The Trump campaign has hastened to try and excuse the statement as a joke, but even if it was a bad attempt at humor, it still is seen as a risk, as well as a blow to America’s global image, even if not intentionally treasonous. “So we were stable mates”.

Trump has also said he might withdraw U.S. troops from European and Asian countries if they failed to pay more for American protection.

Trump’s comments come on the heels of the Democratic National Committee’s emails being hacked – which research has concluded was likely done by two Russian intelligence agencies.

It’s a comment Trump has repeatedly made at rallies. Trump has talked about Russian Federation being a hot business climate, and he has been trying to bring his brand to Moscow for decades, reports CBS News correspondent Julianna Goldman.

Putin, it seems, is also fond of Trump.

JACKSON: But here’s what he said in 2013 to MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts. I never met him.

It must be hard for mainstream Republicans to hold their noses while keeping their eyes and mouths taped shut amid the blast of blather emanating from their presidential candidate Donald Trump. “I don’t know anything about him other than he will respect me”. Are you insane? Can you believe it? Wouldn’t it actually be a positive thing. “I don’t know who Putin is”.

Brian Fallon, national press secretary for Hillary for America, responded that Mr Trump seems to be “openly inviting the Russian government to continue to sponsor acts of cyberterrorism and intrusions against United States interests”.

“I’m saying that I’d possibly have a good relationship. He’s been very nice to me”, Trump said. “I’d love to have that power”.

But that wasn’t Trump’s only comment on Putin during the event. “I’d have to take a look at it”. “Why would I tell him what to do?”

“Why do I have to get tough on Putin?” I built an unbelievable company, tremendous cash, tremendous company with great assets of the world.

Donald Trump’s muddled stance on hacking has disturbed security experts at time when the tech industry is looking for clarity on the U.S.’s cyber policy.

“President Trump would be so much better for U.S”.
