Donald Trump polls fans: ‘Should I do the GOP debate?’
Donald Trump says he’ll “probably” show up at Thursday night’s Fox News Channel debate in Iowa, but he still doesn’t like that Megyn Kelly will be moderating. The Republican frontrunner wants Kelly removed from the debate panel.

Fox News slammed Donald Trump’s decision to skip Thursday night’s debate in Iowa and accused his campaign manager of “terrorizations” against Megyn Kelly, “The Kelly File” host who will be one of the moderators at the event.
Of course, the hate was on hold for New Years Eve, when Trump rang in 2016 on Fox News’ show, live from the most important battleground state of the presidential race: Florida. Clinton is also working to push back at suggestions she’s new to the economic issues driving Sanders’ campaign. The two celebrities have had a longtime feud.
It’s also interesting to note that Kelly’s interview with NR editor Rich Lowry, Brent Bozell, Katie Pavlich, and Dana Loesch was devoid of the sarcasm and tongue-in-cheek digs she exhibited during the Palin/Hume discussion. But one thing is for sure: Kelly will be there, whether Trump is or not. Trump said at an evening news conference. ‘And honestly, Megyn, if you don’t like it, I’m sorry. She knows that, I know that, everybody knows that.
Trump’s blunt-speaking candidacy has boosted ratings for the Republican presidential debates.
Fox News responded by releasing a statement charging Trump’s campaign manager with threatening Kelly, saying during a call Lewandowski had referred to her “rough couple of days” after the previous debate she moderated and added that he would “hate to have her go through that again”.
With the Iowa caucuses coming up next week, we’ll have an indicator of how at least some voters think about Trump’s latest move fairly soon.
She signed off on Tuesday by commenting that “not everyone is showing up” to the debate, but “we hope you will”.
The comment got Trump scolded by more mainstream Republicans. To a considerable degree, Trump, alone among candidates of either party, is already running a general election campaign. On Twitter, he questioned her journalistic skills and called her a bimbo.
“At the end of the day”, he said on MSNBC, “Mr. Trump is going to have the last laugh”.
Trump previously criticized Kelly, calling her “overrated” and “dopey” after she misstated how far ahead he was in the polls last month. “I do think I’ve grown as a professional a result of it. And that’s valuable”. “They can’t toy with me like they can with everyone else”.

“Let’s see how much money Fox makes without me in the debate”, he added. I told them, I said: ‘Give money to the “Wounded Warriors”, give money to the veterans.’ They’re going to make a fortune with the debate. Afterward, Trump said “I thought Megyn behaved very badly, personally”, and criticized her repeatedly.
