Donald Trump praises Vladimir Putin as ‘a leader’, one day after Russian
President Vladimir Putin also said Donald Trump “is an absolute leader” in the presidential race. Trump eventually said he “absolutely” condemns Putin’s alleged killing of journalists and political dissidents.

SCARBOROUGH:…and invades countries, obviously that would be a concern, would it not?
SCARBOROUGH: But, again: He kills journalists that don’t agree with him.
“I think what Putin sees in Trump is somebody who’s shooting from the hip”, she said.
At the White House, Press Secretary Josh Earnest said he hadn’t spent “a lot of time contemplating the consequences of a Trump presidency”, but he insisted that the USA and Russian Federation have been able to work together on disposing of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s declared chemical weapons stockpile and reaching an agreement aimed at preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Lot of killing going on, a lot of stupidity, and that’s the way it is. And that’s the way it is. “So we don’t have good leadership, and I will say that if, if I get in, things will be a lot different”. Our whole country is a mess and you know, you’re asking me a question. He’s a powerful leader …
Earlier, Trump had said that he would “get along very well” with Putin.
The Trump-Putin website also includes a fake TV news segment claiming Trump today “announced his running mate: Russian president Vladimir Putin”, later adding “the decision would be illegal and unconstitutional, but not unexpected”.
Putin “does not like Obama at all”.
During one presidential debate, he said: “If Putin wants to go and knock the hell out of ISIS [the Islamic State group], I am all for it, 100%, and I can’t understand how anybody would be against it”.
Putin dodged a question about the abusive language and combative ploys that Trump uses to stay atop the polls, saying “it’s not our place to judge his work”.
Trump takes pride in his straight talk, not mincing words when attacking his opponents, like describing GOP rival Ben Carson as “low-energy” touting instead the need for a “strong” leader like himself.
Trump responded by defending Putin. That’s the Trump way: Say something outrageous with just enough wiggle room to wiggle. Reporter: That outraged the 2012 nominee Mitt Romney, who tweeted, “Important distinction – thug Putin kills journalists and opponents”. “I think other countries have to get involved with that, Joe”, he said.

Trump, who routinely cites his own high polling as the GOP frontrunner during interviews and campaign rallies, was impressed with Putin’s high polls in Russian Federation.
