Donald Trump ‘projecting an image’
In January and February, both Lewandowski and Trump tried to dismiss criticisms Jacobus made of the billionaire’s debate performances – when she said he “comes off like a third grader faking his way through an oral report on current affairs” – as due to her anger at being turned down for a job with the campaign. The sources were not authorized to discuss the strategic changes inside the campaign, so were granted anonymity to do so. At a meeting over the weekend, Trump told staffers that he’s reorganizing the campaign entirely, demoting his longtime manager Corey Lewandowski and handing over the reins to Manafort and Wikely, who will lead the campaign in upcoming primaries.

Stuart Jolly, described by the Times as “a retired Army lieutenant colonel”, and a loyalist to embattled campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, was the Trump campaign’s national field director.
Sources familiar with Trump’s recent moves said Manafort’s ascent inside Trump world, along with the hiring of former Scott Walker Campaign Manager Rick Wiley and Washington-based attorney William McGinley, signal a shift in the Republican front-runner’s calculus that he must calm the nerves of jittery party insiders.
“I brought in Paul Manafort who’s a total professional, won tremendous numbers of races”. With political campaigns, it’s just the reverse: Every winning campaign gets there its own way, but every struggling campaign tends toward the same frantic gestures: leaks, acrimony, and staff shakeups.
Trump then left the meeting to campaign, taking Lewandowski with him, as Manafort continued the meeting.
Donald Trump’s field director has resigned after a new staffer was hired and installed as his boss in a shakeup of the Republican presidential hopeful’s finances and campaign strategy. “Lewandowski also noted that Trump was great friends with Bill O’Reilly of Fox News and Joe Scarborough, host of “Morning Joe” on MSNBC”.
Trump’s campaign has come under fire for questions whether it has behaved appropriately toward the Super PAC, the suit says.
According to CBS News, Lewandowski’s role within the campaign has been relegated to that of a “body man” and scheduler. News of the hire was first reported by Politico. “Mr. Trump is extremely loyal to him”. Jolly said that part of the reason he joined the campaign was to help Lewandowski. As far as Donald Trump is concerned, it doesn’t look like he’s burned any bridges just yet, as long as the staffing changes pay off in the long run.
He has also faced criticism for attacking the GOP in Florida for its allocation of delegates, accusing the chairman of Florida’s Republican Party, Blaise Ingoglia, of being overtly biased against Trump. The only reason I went to the police was Donald Trump was saying I was making it up.
