Donald Trump promises ‘no more Mr. Nice Guy’
Indeed, Bernie Sanders unequivocally endorsed Clinton for president on the opening night of the convention and reaffirmed his support at various events throughout the week.

But there is more at stake than his legacy, Mr. Obama warned, comparing the politics of the Republican candidate Mr. Trump to fascism and Islamism.
Last night Hillary Clinton made history by becoming the first woman to accept the presidential nomination of any major political party in the US.
In Trump’s view, Clinton failed to accurately express the looming dangers America faces and voters’ desire for a “LAW AND ORDER” president.
“To all of your supporters here and around the country: I want you to know, I’ve heard you”.
“I believe that our economy isn’t working the way it should because our democracy isn’t working the way it should”, said the Democratic presidential nominee whose close ties to Wall Street had been scrutinized during the year-long campaign.
Clinton asked whether Trump would stay true to the phrase on the country’s seal – “E Pluribus Unum”, or out of many, we are one.
“He thinks that he knows more than our military because he claimed our armed forces are ‘a disaster, ‘ ” she said. “I’m starting to agree with you”.
And mocking her Republican counterpart’s notoriously thin skin, Clinton declared, “A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man you can trust with nuclear weapons”.
Clinton was introduced by her daughter, Chelsea, who told intimate stories about what Clinton was like as a mother.
The ad uses video clip from Trump’s attack on Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly in protest of her questioning of him at a debate of Republican presidential contenders last August when he said afterward that blood was “coming out of her eyes, coming out of her wherever”. “They’re angry. He was angry”, Trump said.
Regarding terrorism and other national security threats, Clinton pointed to her experience in the White House, as a senator and as secretary of state – a resumé that can’t be matched by Trump, a real estate developer and TV star who has never held office.

“Let me tell you”, he said, “eight years ago, you may remember Hillary and I were rivals for the Democratic nomination”. That fell short of the 32.2 million people who watched Trump speak to the Republicans a week before. “The family I’m from, well no one had their name on big buildings”, Clinton said in a reference to Trump, whose name is plastered across his properties. For me, it will be up to the people of NY to decide whether I’ll have the privilege of serving them in the United States Senate. While Clinton acknowledged the serious problems facing the country and the world, she appeared to be contrasting herself to Trump by stressing how unity can overcome those problems.
