Her campaign had been pressed to be more transparent about Mrs Clinton’s health, particularly after it failed to reveal her Friday pneumonia diagnosis until Sunday, when she almost collapsed as she left the Ground Zero site in NY.

“She is recovering well with antibiotics and rest”, said her doctor, Lisa Bardack, in a letter released by her campaign.

After she become “overheated”, “dizzy” and “dehydrated” at a 9/11 memorial, Bardack examined Clinton at her NY home. Then the September 11 episode happened, and Clinton canceled campaign plans for three days. Trump handed the show’s host a letter containing new details from a recent examination Dr. Harold Bornstein – the same physician that vouched for Trump’s health in a brief letter he wrote in just five minutes earlier this year.

Clinton has already released a note from her doctor about follow-up testing in 2013 that showed she fully recovered from a concussion and that she tested negative for clotting disorders.

Ms Clinton received a 10-day course of antibiotics, and since Sunday has rested at her home in Chappaqua, New York, where she ‘continues to improve, ‘ Dr Bardack’s letter said. Her blood pressure is 100/70; heart rate of 70; respiratory rate of 18; temperature of 97.8 and pulse-oximetry of 99 percent.

Mrs Clinton’s doctor found that the remainder of the Democratic presidential nominee’s complete physical exam was “normal” and said she was in “excellent mental condition”. “She has had recurrent blood testing for Coumadin dosing and adjustments”. Her total cholesterol was 189; her LDL or “bad” cholesterol was 103, and her HDL or “good” cholesterol was 56 — all within healthy levels and not signaling the need for any medications.

Clinton’s Republican rival Donald Trump will also reveal the results of his own recent medical exam during a TV show set to be aired on Thursday, said a daily report by The Hill, a top U.S. political website.
