Hillary Clinton’s lead in the polls in Pennsylvania is solid – a Quinnipiac survey of likely voters released Tuesday found Clinton leading Trump 52% to 42%.

Trump told supporters at the rally that the only way he could lose Pennsylvania would be if cheating occurs “in certain sections of the state”.
No one at the Left Bank gathering doubted that Trump would carry York County, and Carla Christopher, a community organizer who supported Bernie Sanders, said there was continued discontent with Clinton among progressives even as blue-collar voters “are fresh and raw” in their anger over economic changes that have left them worse off than their parents and grandparents.
“I hope you people can sort of not just vote on the 8th – go around and look and watch other polling places and make sure that it’s 100 percent fine”, Trump told his supporters.
Jason Miller, a campaign spokesman, said in a statement that elections observers “will help ensure lawful voters can vote”. And we have to call up law enforcement.

Of course, it’s debatable whether Trump will even be able to deploy his personal squad of election observers anywhere near the polling stations in Pennsylvania. They say Trump’s talk of the “rigged” system has nearly promised that poll-watching volunteers will see fraud. But, Fund added: “I just don’t think the evidence is there that a lot of monitors will be organized by what Trump said”.
Varad Mehta, a Pennsylvania-based historian and political analyst who is skeptical of Trump’s chances in the state, said the NY businessman has become “toxic” in the Philadelphia area and has “lost ground across the state since the convention”.

A link on his page – that directs participants to donate – rewards registrants with an email that promises to “do everything we are legally allowed to do to stop crooked Hillary from rigging this election”.
Perhaps more importantly, Trump is also already losing Pennsylvania. And according to a recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, Trump is getting zero percent of the black vote in the state.
Of course, all of this talk about fraud by the Republicans totally disregards studies that show voter fraud in the United States is nearly nonexistent.

Many nonprofits, like President Jimmy Carter’s The Carter Center, send people to observe elections in countries where voter fraud is actually a problem such as Zimbabwe.
