The ACLU of Oklahoma on Tuesday demanded that criminal charges be filed against Tulsa police officers whose fatal shooting of an unarmed black man last week was caught on video.

Tulsa police said Crutcher didn’t have a gun.

The shooting was caught on video by both the police dashcam and a helicopter flying overheard.

“He has his hands up and is facing the auto and looks at Shelby, and his left hand goes through the vehicle window, and that’s when she fired her shot”, Wood said.

Tiffany Crutcher is the dead man’s twin sister. That “big bad dude” was my twin brother. He put his hands down and started to reach into his pocket again, Wood said, and she ordered him again to get his hands out of his pocket. No body camera footage exists, because Tulsa police have not implemented the devices for officers, despite receiving a federal grant to do so past year.

Crutcher can be seen dropping to the ground. “It affects me. I have kids, I have a wife and it affects me”, he said. One of the officers near Crutcher backs up slightly. Then nearly immediately, someone can be heard yelling, “Shots fired!” and Crutcher is left lying in the street.

Camellia Bryant, who lives across the street from Crutcher’s modest single-story house, said her children and Crutcher’s had routine sleepovers.

After that, someone on the police radio can be heard saying, “Shots fired”. A man inside a police helicopter overhead says: “That looks like a bad dude, too”.

Now, the Crutcher family is calling for a National Day of Justice in Tulsa on September 27. Shelby is on administrative leave with pay.

The initial moments of Crutcher’s encounter with police are not shown in the footage. But having PCP in your vehicle isn’t the same thing as having it in your system-a crucial distinction to make when Shelby’s defense hinges on the claim that Crutcher was “under the influence”. “And the NY bomber is alive right now”, she said, referring to Ahmad Khan Rahami who was charged with attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, among other charges, after a shootout Monday with police in New Jersey. A 911 caller reported an abandoned SUV, left running in the middle of the road with the driver’s side door open. Mook said Wednesday Clinton meant she would explain that different ethnic groups are often treated differently in America.

After the shooting, Crutcher could be seen lying on the side of the road, blood pooling around his body, for almost two minutes before anyone checked on him.

Maybe I can, by speaking directly to white people, say, ‘Look, this is not who we are.’ We have to do everything possible to improve policing, to go right at implicit bias.

But questioned the actions of the police officer who shot Terence Crutcher alongside his vehicle in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Police have said that he exited his auto with a weapon, CNN reported. Peaceful protests followed Crutcher’s death.

The Justice Department is now investigating the shooting death of an unarmed black man in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tulsa police said that he did not listen to their commands and he reached inside the vehicle. “We need unity & leadership”, Trump tweeted.

Clinton said Tuesday that while there are “good, honorable, cool-headed police officers” working across the country, “we can do better”. But an attorney for his family, Melvin Hall, said those details were not known by police at the scene. “Who is flawless? But that night he was not a criminal”, Hall said. “My God, help us”.
