Donald Trump releases doctor’s letter summarizing results from his physical
With both candidates under pressure to share more medical data, Team Trump had raised – then dropped – the possibility of releasing the results of a recent physical during an appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show”.

Earlier this morning, his campaign aides said that he would not be releasing medical records during the taping of an appearance with Dr. Mehmet Oz on “The Dr. Oz Show” today. Trump reviewed some of his medical history on The Dr. Oz Show, which he taped on Wednesday.
In the letter dated September 13, which comes as both he and Hillary Clinton move to disclose new details about their health, Trump’s longtime doctor Harold N. Bornstein said the candidate has undergone an annual physical exam since he has been under his care dating back to 1980. “And I don’t want to talk about things that are outside the health purview”. They also said Oz sounded generally impressed by Trump’s health.
It also highlights his aims to compete in the industrial Midwest, though polls have him down in MI, which last went Republican in 1988.
Oz had already said he wouldn’t be pushing Trump on the issue.
Multiple audience members told CNN that Trump said he does not exercise. In it, Trump told Oz he had two letters with him showing results of tests conducted last week.
In an interview Tuesday on Fox News Radio’s “Kilmeade & Friends,” Oz said he would not ask the GOP nominee “questions he doesn’t want to have answered”. The report also indicated that there was no evidence of any previous heart attacks. In August, Bornstein said in a four-paragraph letter that Trump’s health was “astonishingly excellent”.
Clinton’s campaign also has said that they will release additional medical information in the coming days.
“I don’t know folks – you think Hillary Clinton would be able to stand up here for an hour and do this?”
Trump has repeatedly questioned Clinton’s health and stamina, but he has not referred to her health since Sunday’s news that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia. “The metaphor for me is, this is a doctor’s office, the studio”.

The medical revelation comes following the collapse of his Democrat rival Hillary Clinton at the 9/11 memorial event in NY, and the subsequent pneumonia diagnosis that prompted her to release additional medical information.
