Donald Trump releases medical information

Donald Trump said Thursday that his results from a recent physical were good – a sentiment backed up by Dr. Mehmet Oz, who said records he saw from Mr. Trump on Wednesday show the GOP nominee is “without question” healthy enough to be president.

“Mr. Trump shared with Dr. Oz the results of his physical examination performed last week by Dr. Harold Bornstein, M.D. of Lenox Hill Hospital, whom has been Mr. Trump’s personal physician for many years”, according to the statement.

Later in the episode, Ivanka Trump made an appearance to discuss the Trump campaign’s recent childcare and maternity leave initiative.

Pence told House Republicans in the closed-door meeting that he didn’t know Trump when they first met, but had gotten to know him well, citing what he said was Trump’s kindness and things he’s done to show that he’s different than what people see on TV. Trump has declared Flint’s water problems “a horror show” and said “this is a situation that would have never happened if I were president”.

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade reported on September 13 that Trump would be handing over his medical records to Oz for the show, notes Media Matters.

Trump released a separate letter from Bornstein in December, in which the physician said that his patient, if elected, would “unequivocally” be “the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency”. The Democratic nominee’s own health has been under scrutiny as she’s been recovering from a bout of pneumonia.

Oz said he invited Trump and Clinton on his show.

She was forced to leave a 9/11 memorial event in NY on Sunday and was seen stumbling limp-legged into a Secret Service vehicle.

Her campaign said Clinton has “mild, non-contagious bacterial pneumonia”, and is being treated with an antibiotic called Levaquin, prescribed for 10 days.

Mrs Clinton’s vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine is also expected to release his medical records later on Wednesday, an aide has told ABC News.

Trump, 70, is 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 236 pounds, the letter by Dr. Harold Bornstein, dated September 13, said. “I think they’re going to be good”.

“Something’s going on, but I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail and we’ll be seeing her at the debate”, Trump said Monday on “Fox & Friends”.

“On Sunday, September 11 at the 9/11 Memorial event, she became overheated and dehydrated and as a result felt dizzy”, Bardack wrote.
