Donald Trump Reminds Crowd That He Could Buy Elections If He Wanted

“We don’t have much of a race anymore based on what I’m seeing on television”, Trump said at the Trump Tower in Manhattan.

The reason for Dr. Ben Carson’s name still being on the ballot for the NY primaries even after he dropped out of the race in early March is because he was late in submitting a request for his name to be removed from the ballot.

Less than three minutes into his speech, Trump was blasting Cruz and repeating “Lyin’ Ted”.

There are still 31 more delegates that will be decided in June, but this was the case for many districts this weekend – with Trump winning the vote totals, and Cruz winning the political game behind the scenes. The Trump Campaign, as recently as this, has said how important West Virginia is to them.

“Yeah, but most of those unbound delegates can’t stand him”, Sununu said. The chaos begins if a single candidate does not receive 1,237 votes after the first vote.

As of now, Clinton leads Sanders among superdelegates who’ve publicly stated their preference, 502 to 38, according to an Associated Press tally.

Trump’s chief rival for the nomination, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, showed up at the party conclave and scoffed at Trump’s claim that he will have the nomination sewed up by the time the quadrennial convention convenes.

In the Democratic primary, about 7 in 10 supporters of each candidate said that they would definitely or probably vote for the other candidate if he or she became the party’s nominee. Conversely, just a quarter of voters say the delegates sent to the convention in Cleveland should decide.

Maryland awards 24 delegates by congressional district.

“The Donald Trump campaign doesn’t know what they’re doing”.

New Mexico’s 24 delegates will be free to back any candidate if no one secures the nomination in the first round at the national convention. Right now, the controversial Rule 40(b) requires candidates to have won eight states to be nominated at the convention; that eliminates Gov. John Kasich. “It’s an integrity of the election question, and everybody’s asking me this question so I’m giving you an opportunity to explain it”.

On Wednesday, Hannity called the Republican party’s delegate process “confusing” and said he hopes to see changes to it going forward.

The state’s Republicans are in the unusual position this year of casting primary votes that could matter.
