Donald Trump’s and Paul Ryan’s endorsements of each other were pretty similar
Republican Donald Trump took steps to steer his White House campaign back into favor with his party on Friday with reported plans to endorse U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan after expressing coolness toward him earlier this week.

“Unstable Hillary Clinton, lacks the judgment, temperament and moral character to lead this country – and I believe that so strongly”, Trump told supporters as he accused Clinton of supporting policies that he said could damage USA national security.
Aides say Clinton will outline her economic plans and argue that Trump is only focused on the wealthiest Americans.
Trump has said positive things about aspects of Ryan’s agenda, like the poverty plank, but still has not explicitly offered his commitment to helping House Republicans implement it in 2017.
“I hold in the highest esteem Sen”.
Over the past few days, Trump had refused to endorse either Ryan and McCain fueling speculations that all is not well among the Republicans and the party is not united ahead of the crucial November general elections.
“It’s time to unite our Party and deny a third term of Obama. This is one of the most important elections of my lifetime”.
Trump heavily emphasized his outsider status in the lead-up to delivering his endorsements of three incumbent Republicans with a combined tenure in Congress of more than a half century.
As for Trump’s critiques of the Khans, Pence gestured reconciliation in a statement, saying, “Donald Trump and I believe that Captain Humayun Khan is an American hero and his family, like all Gold Star families, should be cherished by every American”.
The Republican nominee, speaking in Des Moines, Iowa, accused Clinton of being “unbalanced” and “unstable”, called her a “dangerous” and “pathological” liar and warned voters in this swing state that a Clinton presidency would lead to “the destruction of this country from within”.
Ryan and many other Trump supporters have criticized the NY businessman for attacking the parents of Humayun Khan, an Army captain killed in the Iraq war, after the father denounced Trump at the Democratic convention.
In addition, Trump plans to release his framework for boosting the US economy in a speech in Detroit on Monday, an event that will offer him a chance to avoid theatrics and detail how he would handle economic issues if elected. “That is the mark of a true leader”.
“I fully expected it”, said Nehlen, who added that he did not speak with or meet with Trump in recent days beyond their public exchange on Twitter.
“I like Paul, but these are awful times for our country”. Losing the Senate is one thing: Democrats only need to win five seats to take the majority. We need very, very strong leadership.
Trump told the Washington Post on Tuesday, “I’m just not quite there yet”. On Friday, Priebus announced that he and his wife voted for Ryan.
And both were pretty wary to endorse the other.
“All my life I’ve been told, ‘You have the greatest temperament, ‘” he said.
Pence’s job is harder: softening Trump’s rough edges and limiting the fallout from what many Republicans see as the nominee’s self-inflicted wounds.
Neither Ryan nor Wisconsin’s Republican governor, Scott Walker, showed up for Trump’s Green Bay event.

Ryan has criticized Trump’s proposed ban on Muslims entering the US and said it was racist for him to suggest that a judge’s Mexican ancestry made it impossible for him to be impartial in a civil fraud suit against Trump.
