Donald Trump’s campaign manager Steve Bannon faced domestic violence charge, reports say
The case was dropped when the victim failed to appear in court, and the couple were later divorced.

Bannon, who is on leave as chairman of the conservative Breitbart News to oversee Trump’s campaign, was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence, battery and dissuading a witness.
She said Bannon told her to leave town so she couldn’t be served in the case or testify against him. Bannon’s spokeswoman, Alexandra Preate, told McClatchy in an email that “Mr. Bannon and his ex-wife and his children (have) a great relationship”.
Piccard accused Bannon of domestic abuse, saying he “became physical with me and grabbed me by the throat and arm” during a dispute on January 1, 1996.
“I took the phone to call the police and he grabbed the phone away from me throwing it across the room, and breaking it as he [was] screaming that I was a ‘crazy f-ing c-t!” according to the document.
Several weeks after Trump appointed Paul Manafort to campaign manager, news emerged about his alleged connections to pro-Russian forces in the Ukraine.
Charlie Black, a Republican strategist who has informally advised the Trump campaign, said the allegations against Bannon fell into a “gray area” because the charges were dropped. Reports state Manafort is being investigated by the federal government over those dealings.
A Trump campaign spokesperson said Bannon moved to another home in Florida, though an exact location has not been clarified. “I was scheduled for an amniocentesis and was told by the respondent that if the babies were normal we would get married”, Piccard claimed in a document.
On Thursday, Bannon’s registration information was changed from an address in Miami-Dade County to Sarasota County, according to Carolina Lopez, the deputy supervisor of elections in Miami-Dade.
In Chinni’s analysis of Trump’s position, Trump’s best-case scenario means raising his support among male voters to the highest of any candidate in the past three decades and bringing Clinton’s support among women to the lowest of any candidate in the past three decades – and that still doesn’t quite make the cut. Being called a “wife beater” is the worst thing that can happen to Bannon when Trump is trying to improve his image among women voters.
“I told him that there are children who are Jewish at (a competing school), and he asked me what the percentage was”. Stephen “Steve” Bannon is registered to vote in Florida, but U.S. News & World Report notes Bannon has never actually lived at the home where he’s registered.
“Bannon made it clear that he would not marry me just because I was pregnant”.

In March 1997, Piccard wrote that she only wanted to restrict Bannon’s visits with the children to neutral sites because he “has been verbally abusive to me in front of the girls and I do not feel safe meeting him” elsewhere.
