Donald Trump’s doctor declares him in ‘excellent physical health’

Donald Trump has provided to The Washington Post a letter that summarizes his latest physical exam and discussed the results on a television show scheduled to air Thursday afternoon, bringing his health to the fore of the presidential race.

The letter from Bornstein is much more straightforward and professional than one he wrote for Trump in December 2015, in which he bizarrely proclaimed that Trump “would be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency”.

Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia last week, but opted to ignore her doctor and continued to campaign over the weekend. “She is recovering well with antibiotics and rest”.

John Podesta, the chair of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign, told reporters on a call that the wording of Trump’s remark was “extremely insensitive, divisive and probably pretty consistent with the kind of rhetoric he heard around the house when he was growing up”.

Clinton told the crowd she had “had a cough that turned out to be pneumonia”. She had to cancel three days of campaigning because of the diagnosis. A CT scan “showed no abnormalities of the brain”.

His running mate, Donald Trump, shared points about his health on the Dr. Oz Show. That information has not been provided to reporters by the campaign.

His comments were made during an hour-long interview on The Doctor Oz Show taped Wednesday.

The reply demonstrated a few things, including Trump’s reticence to giving answers and Dr. Mehmet Oz’s failure to ask follow-up questions.

Dodging the question on Kaine, Clinton said: “Look, this was an ailment that many people just power through, and that’s what I thought i would do as well”.

“Other than apparently his body mass index being a little high, the man is in incredibly good shape. It goes back further in time”, said Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN’s chief medical correspondent and a practicing neurosurgeon.

Clinton is now taking Armor Thyroid, Coumadin, Levaquin (temporarily), Clarinex and B-12 as needed.

Clinton’s vaccinations are “up to date” and include Prevnar and Pneumovax. She has also had a normal mammogram and breast ultrasound, according to the letter.

Laboratory results show cholesterol well in the normal range (169 with HDL cholesterol at 63, LDL at 94).

“This is where bigotry leads, and we can’t afford it, not here or anywhere else”, Mrs Clinton said.

On Wednesday, she released updated details from her doctor declaring her fit to serve as president.
