Donald Trump’s Long Embrace Of Vladimir Putin
Last night, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton got in some debate practice during a forum with the Today Show’s Matt Lauer, with each candidate separately talking about how they’d deal with tough stuff as Commander-in-Chief. He also stands by his apparent best friendship with Vladimir Putin, who has committed a large number of atrocities over the years-when Lauer asked him about the invasion of Ukraine, etc., Trump spat back, “Do you want me to start naming some of the things that President Obama does?” “Trump lies, he blatantly lies, and Matt Lauer moves on”, he said.

The GOP foreign policy elite is broadly anti-Russian, which explains why so many major neocons are supporting Hillary Clinton.
“I don’t understand the reason for it”, Clinton said Thursday. “He just let Trump get away with making lies”. It isn’t easy, but I have learned to be grateful not just for my blessings but also for my faults – and there are plenty! Clinton said. “But we should”.
Digging into the crosstabs a bit – you can check out the 2014 ones here, and the 2016 ones here – the change appears to have occurred nearly entirely among voters who say they supported Donald Trump in the primaries.
Clinton has done one-on-one interviews and has had a few informal press gatherings, but nothing like Thursday’s conference at Westchester County Airport, which was announced in advance.
“Clinton announced today she will be meeting with a bipartisan group of high-profile security experts in NY tomorrow, including David Petraeus, Michael Chertoff, and Janet Napolitano”, Cordes stated at the end of her report, seemingly impressed by Clinton’s schedule. In some cases, as with his plans to defeat the Islamic State group, Trump says they’re purposefully shrouded in secrecy. Lauer probably believes the answer is no, but nothing about this question would drive home Trump’s extraordinary lack of knowledge.
As a result, the campaign and both Joint Fundraising Committees finished the month with very strong cash positions on hand, totaling approximately Dollars 97 million. She finished with the jaw-dropping claim that “I did exactly what I should have done and I take it very seriously, always have, always will”.
› Clinton’s argument that Trump is ill-prepared to be commander in chief has been bolstered by a flood of Republican national security experts who are backing the Democratic nominee instead of their own party’s pick.

“On August 31, the day Trump met with the President of Mexico and delivered his 10-point plan to reform immigration laws in this country, the campaign raised more than United States dollars 5 million”, it said.
