Donald Trump expressed concern for the rising national debt Thursday, telling supporters in Las Vegas that the US could become “Greece on steroids”.

Then an unidentified woman joined him on stage with a copy of the magazine and yelled his praises to the crowd.

“And I’m telling you we need to get our act together or we’re going to be Greece on steroids”, he added.

“All Hispanics love me”, He said.

At various points, members of the audience – a few clad in Trump t-shirts or sporting red “make America great again” hats – shouted “we need you” and “I love you”.

“Our leaders are incompetent”, Trump said to applause. “They are incredible people”.

His speech spanned a spider-web of topics that included his disdain for media coverage, many of his fellow Republican presidential candidates and current political leadership as well as Thursday’s news that McCarthy had dropped out of a race for House speaker. Nearly all said they prefer Trump to other Republican candidates because he was not a professional politician.
