Hillary Clinton criticises Donald Trump was posted in World of TheNews International – https://www.thenews.com.pk on September 10, 2016 and was last updated on September 10, 2016. It is not clear whether the two will cross paths, and neither candidate is expected to make public remarks.

Hillary Clinton said today she was “wrong” to say that “half” of Donald Trump’s supporters were “deplorables” and “irredeemable”, remarks she made at the LGBT For Hillary Gala, a fundraiser at which Barbra Streisand and Rufus Wainwright performed.

Nevertheless, in his statement Saturday, Trump accused Clinton of “showing bigotry and hatred for millions of Americans”. But she argued that the word “deplorable” was reasonable to describe much of Trump’s campaign.

“She is being so protected”, Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, said to a crowd of more than 10,000 at an evening rally here.

She added, “And unfortunately, there are people like that and he has lifted them up”. “They try to keep it to the facts of the intelligence gathering they’ve put together”. “National security experts on both sides of the aisle are chilled by what they’re hearing from the Republican nominee”.

Trump concluded his brief remarks speaking to Schlafly, saying, “we will never, ever let you down”.

Trump is expected to speak at the Catholic service for Schlafly, who died Monday at the age of 92.

Trump was also asked to respond to his previous remarks of praise toward Vladimir Putin, that most Russians respect him whereas only half of Americans approve of President Obama.

In this poll, Clinton has lost half of her 10 point August 9 lead in Pennsylvania.

But, she added, it is “deplorable that Mr Trump has built his campaign largely on prejudice and paranoia and given a national platform to hateful views and voices, including by retweeting fringe bigots with a few dozen followers and spreading their message to 11 million people”.

“Several high ranking sources at the network [NBC] said they hear the criticism and agree with at least some of it”, CNN reported.

“The effect of the Republican and Democratic conventions on the presidential race has run its course”, said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

Trump rebuked Clinton on Twitter, his campaign manager Kellyanne Conway called for Clinton to apologise, and his running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, chastised her in a speech Saturday.

“Her tenure has brought us only war and destruction and death”, Trump said.

Florida women support Clinton 56-36 percent, while men back Trump by a margin of 58-36 percent.

He says she’s smeared many Americans and will pay a heavy political price. “At the very least, if you know anybody who’s even thinking of voting for Trump, stage an intervention”, Clinton said.
