Donald Trump says he would “absolutely” bring back waterboarding
I know it might be not politically correct for you to talk about it, but there were people cheering as that building came down – as those buildings came down, and that tells you something.

“I’m the only person in this race who’s actually done this before”, he said, highlighting his prior career as a federal prosecutor.
Even more pointedly, Trump had a massive lead when those who leaned Republican were asked whom they trusted to deal with the threat of terrorism.
Appearing on Fox and Friends the morning after the dust up, Trump was unapologetic.
“I don’t want to close mosques – I want to surveil mosques”.
With those figures behind him, Trump can argue that he’s tapping into a few very real frustrations that grassroots members of the Republican party have with the other candidates, and that they’re listening with intent to what he has to say.
Waterboarding was banned by President Barack Obama early into his first term.
Ben Carson, running 4 percentage points behind Trump in the latest Bloomberg Politics national poll, taken November 15-17, declined to say whether he’d favor waterboarding, during an appearance on the same program. The next leading candidate, former Florida governor Jeb Bush, was on 18%. The NY Times notes that, while video of a few people cheering in Middle Eastern countries was seen on American televisions on 9/11, there is no evidence at all that any Muslims – let alone “thousands and thousands – were celebrating in New Jersey on that day”.
On ABC Sunday, Trump was asked if he rules out a database on all Muslims in the U.S.
Donald Trump came out and said he’s “absolutely” a supporter of bringing back waterboarding as a form of “interrogation”.
“I would bring it back”.
“We want to go with watch lists”.
“I think waterboarding is peanuts compared to what they (Islamic State) do to us”, he said.
He said such a registry should focus on Syrian refugees, whom he called “a Trojan Horse”, adding they should not be allowed in.
Mayor Steven Fulop is going after Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for “shamefully politicizing the 9/11 attacks” since the billionaire said thousands of people in Jersey City cheered the collapse of the World Trade Towers.

He said: I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down.
