Donald Trump took his horrifying rhetoric to a new level and shockingly suggested that his supporters invoke their second amendment rights against Hillary Clinton. Click through to watch footage of his unsafe, reckless remarks.

“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment”, Trump said to the crowd of supporters gathered in the Trask Coliseum at North Carolina University. If @HillaryClinton gets to pick her anti-#2A #SCOTUS judges, there’s nothing we can do. The NRA backed him up on the statement saying the only way to protect the Second Amendment was to vote for Trump.
Is that message clear enough?
Trump’s perceived violation of political norms – candidates don’t typically call for physically hurting opponents – was all the more striking because the position he was criticizing isn’t one that Clinton even holds.
But Democrats saw – and seized – an opportunity to reinforce the perception that Trump can’t moderate the things that come out of his mouth, much less the decisions he’d make as president.
“It’s called the power of unification ― Second Amendment people have incredible spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power”, Miller said in a statement.
The Trump campaign insisted the candidate’s words referred to the power of “Second Amendment people” to unify.
Hillary’s campaign, however, is not buying that excuse. Contrary to Trump’s remarks, Clinton has made her support for the Second Amendment a key piece of her usual campaign speech, though she supports stricter gun control measures. “A person seeking to be the president of the United States should not suggest violence in any way”. You would think that would go without saying!
Jason Miller, Trump’s senior communications adviser, said in a statement that Trump was merely talking about Second Amendment supporters large influence as a group. Tell us your thoughts in the comments!
An anti-Trump super PAC “Democratic Coalition Against Trump” said the FBI should investigate the Republican nominee.
The turmoil among Republicans was reflected in a Reuters/IPSOS poll on Wednesday that showed almost one-in-five registered Republicans voters wanted Trump to drop out ahead of the November 8 election.
“It is beyond outrageous”.
The former secretary of state has never called for the abolition of gun rights, but has called for additional gun regulations and safety checks to reduce the number of deadly gun shootings in the US.

The National Rifle Association’s Political Victory Fund released a new ad against Hillary Clinton Tuesday aimed at energizing voters concerned about gun rights following the Democratic nominee’s bump in polls in recent days.
