Donald Trump, seeking to end Republican row, backs House speaker
“We need unity – we have to win this election”, Mr Trump said during a campaign stop in Green Bay, Wisconsin – Mr Ryan’s home state.

The dividing lines appear to extend as far as the GOP ticket: Vice presidential nominee Mike Pence told Fox News on Wednesday that he endorses Ryan, contradicting Trump’s refusal to endorse Ryan on Tuesday.
Trump noted in his speech that the Republican Party needs to be united and that he needs a Republican House and Senate to accomplish the changes he’s proposing. “Very important, we’ll work together”. And I’m just not quite there. “I’m not quite there yet”, Trump said [several days ago]. And then there’s Paul Nehlen, Ryan’s longshot primary challenger who Trump just four days ago praised for defending him.
Republican Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos says he is embarrassed about Donald Trump being the GOP presidential nominee, calling it a “sad day in America”.
In another Friday morning interview, Ryan told WTMJ’s Charlie Sykes that “I see no goal in doing this tit-for-tat, petty back and forth with Donald Trump, because it serves no good objective in my mind”. “I don’t like doing this; I don’t want to do this”, Ryan said. He’s a miserable excuse for a congressman who thinks about nothing except his own political advancement-from congressional aide to congressman to House Budget Committee chair to 2012 Republican vice-presidential nominee to House Ways and Means Committee chair to House speaker to 2020 Republican presidential prospect.
Donald Trump has formally endorsed Sen.
“We will have disagreements”, Trump said.
“He was a war hero because he was captured”, Trump said.
Paul Ryan, like other top Wisconsin Republicans, did not attend Mr Trump’s evening appearance in their state.
“And I fully support and endorse his re-election”, said Trump.
Trump says, “We have to unite”.
On Friday, he called Ayotte “a rising star” who “will continue to represent the great people of New Hampshire so very well for a long, long time”.
Nehlen has forced Ryan to flip-flop on the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal, which he previously supported but now opposes, and has forced Ryan for the first time in over a decade to campaign and respond to criticisms in his district.
The remarks infuriated many in the Republican establishment, and a GOP source told CNN Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus was especially frustrated because Ryan and Priebus, both from Wisconsin, are very close.
Speaking in an interview on CBS This Morning on Thursday, Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort said there was “no issue” about Trump’s current position on Ryan.

Nehlen had released a statement defending Trump amid criticism over his remarks about the Muslim parents of a slain usa solider.
