The Republican presidential nominee is scheduled to appear on “The Dr. Oz Show” today and clips from the interview will be released this afternoon.
Donald Trump put new pressure on Hillary Clinton to release additional information about her medical history on Thursday, publishing the results from his latest physical.
“Not knowing if we would see Mr. Trump’s medical records, I planned to do a full review of systems with Mr. Trump”, Oz said via text message. “He’s 6’3” and weighs 236 pounds, according to Villa’s recollection (some other publications said the weight mentioned at the taping was 267 pounds). Trump is taking a cholesterol drug known by the brand name Crestor and he takes a low-dose aspirin. He does not use tobacco products or alcohol.
A previous letter (PDF) released by Bornstein in December reported Trump’s blood pressure to be 110/65, and his PSA test score was the same, 0.15.
Trump insisted on the show that he’s in good health and said he has the stamina of a much younger person.
In an interview with Fox News Radio’s “Kilmeade & Friends”, Oz, who did not examine Trump, said he will ask Trump about his “personal health regimen” and analyze the numbers from his physical live. “His cholesterol is good but he takes medication for it, which is probably why”, a source present at the taping told NBC News’ Katy Tur.
The statement was part of medical information Clinton’s campaign released Wednesday after her pneumonia diagnosis last week.
Clinton supporters have retaliated by citing Trump’s girth and reddish facial complexion, saying he is the unhealthy one.
“I think I’ll win the Hispanic vote”, Trump told reporters after touring the bridge.
Trump has annual physical exam in the spring of every year, and his last colonoscopy, chest X-ray and cardiac evaluation were results. Clinton releases health info Also Wednesday, the Clinton team released a second letter from her physician, Dr. Lisa R. Bardack, that gave current health details.
His appearance followed questions about his rival Hillary Clinton’s health after it was revealed she was suffering from pneumonia at the weekend.
