Donald Trump Speech in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Hillary Clinton says she learned as a young woman to control her emotions in part as one of the few women applying to law school at the time.

Trump also touched his bumpy relationship with various foreign leaders.

Clinton was asked about a letter signed by 88 retired military officials in support of Donald Trump during a briefing with reporters on her campaign plane Tuesday.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton waves as she arrives to speak at the 49th Annual Salute to Labor at Illiniwek Park Riverfront in Hampton, Ill., on Monday. “Boy, would he like to see her. Look how bad her decisions have been”.

By virtue of a coin flip, Clinton took the stage first.

“And we’ve got to do it with air power”. We are going to stand up to our adversaries, not cozy up to them.

Trump, who has long talked about the importance of “taking the oil” in the Middle East, said: “We would leave a certain group behind and they would take the various sections where they have the oil”.

Trump charges that, after the server was revealed, Clinton’s “staff deleted all the emails and wiped it clean using a software created to prevent any recovery”.

“People who have nothing to hide don’t smash phones with hammers. People who have nothing to hide don’t bleach – nobody’s even ever heard of it – their emails, or destroy evidence to keep it from being publicly archived as required under federal law”, Trump said, pointing to Clinton aides’ use of a software named BleachBit to expunge traces of deleted emails.

Lauer received the most criticism for not challenging Trump on the candidate’s claim that he opposed the war in Iraq before it happened, despite a 2002 interview where he said he supported it. Clinton, who was interviewed earlier by Lauer, had referenced that Trump interview with Howard Stern.

Trump has some convincing to do on foreign policy.

The two candidates appeared separately, with Clinton going first.

She said she couldn’t promise there would be no terror attacks on US soil if she becomes president, calling preventing terrorism “a huge challenge”. Trump did not give an overall cost estimate for his buildup. It also allows her to target Republican-leaning voters who have been turned off by Trump. Clinton, the Democrat, is campaigning in Florida in search of an advantage in the nation’s largest swing state. That margin would be close to insurmountable for Trump on Election Day.

Sevugan said timing is also at play, though the focus on national security isn’t driven exclusively by the approaching September 11 anniversary. All of this, he says, makes national security issues real and personal to him. “And from the Trump perspective, they need to shore this up”.

Trump, the Republican nominee, is set to campaign in Virginia and North Carolina today, two critical states in his path to the presidency.

Separately, Trump continued to face questions about his immigration policy a day after refusing to rule out a pathway to legal status for immigrants in the country illegally.

National security will be a focus all week.

Several different types of viewers – Clinton supporters, journalists, TV critics, some members of the studio audience, and some NBC staffers – expressed various frustrations and disappointments about Lauer’s moderation of the forum.

Beyond new spending on troops and naval assets, Trump will also call for additions to sea-based missile defense. John McCain’s as an American P.O.W., smearing the Muslim parents of a slain soldier, or likening his prep school experience to actually serving in the military. He didn’t do it on the Iraq War.

Trump will deliver another speech Wednesday evening, at the convention of New York’s Conservative Party.

Ryan, who accused Putin of violating the sovereignty of his neighbors, also said it “certainly appears” that Putin is waging state-sponsored cyber-attacks on the US political system.

Her allies say the campaign about personality, not policy, might help her defeat Trump – but at a long-term cost.

Asked by host Matt Lauer about Putin’s compliments to Trump, the candidate responded, “Well, I think when he calls me brilliant, I’ll take the compliment, okay?”

“I knew from the start”, Ms. Crowley later told The Associated Press, “somebody is going to be unhappy no matter what you do”.

Trump’s running mate reinforced the praise for Putin on Thursday, also contrasting him favorably with President Barack Obama. Given that she steered U.S. foreign policy while running the State Department for four years, she has the more complicated task of defending her own record – and her decision to use a private email server as secretary of state – while articulating how her stewardship of global affairs would differ in areas in which President Barack Obama has been criticized. Her email explanations were insipid and unconvincing, as always.

He cited his recent trip to Mexico as an example of his ability to serve as commander in chief. Because, honestly, they never quit. They’ve taken back Ramadi, Fallujah.

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is on pace to outspend her GOP rival Donald Trump on the air in key battleground states by a seven-to-one margin
