Donald Trump Talks About His Weight to Dr. Oz

Mehmet Oz studies medical results provided by Donald Trump during a taping of his health talk show on Wednesday. That’s despite the fact that, by any measure, Trump has offered less detail on far fewer issues over the course of his campaign than Clinton, who has released so many policy proposals, her campaign published a book of them.

Donald Trump on Thursday released a one-page letter from his doctor outlining the results from his latest physical.

Clinton, on the heels of her own illness-related incident this week, released a health bulletin on Wednesday after being grounded by pneumonia at the height of the White House race.

Clinton released a signed letter from her physician that spelled out how the Democratic nominee was diagnosed with noncontagious bacterial pneumonia September 9 and treated with antibiotics.

Additionally, Trump’s blood pressure was 116/70 and his blood sugar was 99. His total cholesterol was 169; his LDL or “bad” cholesterol was 94, and his HDL or “good” cholesterol was 63.

Bornstein later said he only took five minutes to write that clean bill of health, and a Trump vehicle was waiting outside while he penned the note.

PRESIDENTIAL hopeful Donald Trump shared the results of his latest medical with a top U.S. television doc and reports claim it reveals he’s “clinically obese”.

His only other listed medication was a low-dose aspirin, which doctors often recommend to lower the risk of heart disease and colon cancer.

Mr Trump is six foot and three inches and weighs 236 pounds, the doctor attests.

Oz, known mostly because of Oprah Winfrey, who knighted him “Americas Doctor, ” has a large and devoted fan base.

Earlier this year, Bornstein drew attention for writing that Trump would be the healthiest president in history.

Trump has been pictured several times eating fast food on the campaign trail. His last colonoscopy was performed on July 10, 2013 which was normal and revealed no polyps. A chest x-ray and electrocardiogram (ECG) in April were normal, and an echocardiogram in 2014 was “within the range of normal”, Bornstein wrote. He doesn’t use tobacco or alcohol. All of the detailed results are enclosed.

While Mrs Clinton’s supporters say she is now fit enough for the job, a top aide admitted the Democratic candidate’s presidential campaign would have to work harder because a candidate as controversial as Trump makes it “harder to be heard”.

“People are amazed”, Trump concluded of his health.

These days, the candidate said, he gets exercise at his rallies.

Thursday’s letter doesn’t disclose any previous health conditions Trump has had, except that his only hospitalization was for a childhood appendectomy.
