Donald Trump Talks Personal Health on The Dr. Oz Show

Donald Trump on Thursday released the results of his latest physical in a letter from his doctor, Dr. Harold Bornstein.

Trump takes a medication to control his cholesterol, which has also kept his blood pressure low.

Bornstein says Trump has only been hospitalized once in his life, when he was 11-years-old for an appendectomy.

It was performed last week by Dr. Harold Bornstein, a doctor at Lenox Hill Hospital in NY and Trump’s long-time physician.

“This study was reported within the range of normal”, said Dr Bornstein, who has been personal physician of Trump since 1980. NBC News reported last month that Bornstein had written the letter in five minutes while a limo sent by Trump waited outside his office.

Trump shared “a comprehensive summary of a battery of tests” performed by his doctor on “The Dr. Oz Show” Wednesday, the show said in a press release.

Trump is expected to discuss his health, as well as health and medical issues facing the nation, with show host Dr. Mehmet Oz and take questions from the audience, Conway told Fox News.

Trump’s appearance on the show, announced by the mogul on Monday, comes after Hillary Clinton’s disclosure that she had been suffering from pneumonia.

Kilmeade’s interview with Oz aired later Tuesday morning on his radio show, “Kilmeade and Friends”, and the celebrity doctor explained that there would be some limitations on what he will reveal and ask about. And Trump’s medical and family histories are incomplete, Mishori said. He was in good health overall.

“I feel as good today, as I did at 30”, Trump said. Dr. Oz, a cardiothoracic surgeon by training, developed a loyal following after appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show through the years.

Trump admitted to Oz that he does eat a fair amount of fast food when he’s on the road campaigning, and that the person who picks it up is told not to tell the restaurant it is for him because he worries the food may be tampered with.

Asked about reports that he weighs more than 236, Mr Trump joked: “Ay-ay-yi, it’s bad enough”.

Critics say Trump paints an overly bleak picture of life in urban African-American communities, where crime has fallen and the life expectancy has risen in recent decades.

“I guess that’s a form of exercise”, he added. After taking several days off from directly attacking Clinton’s health following her diagnosis of pneumonia over the weekend, Trump appeared to raise questions about her health at a rally Wednesday night in Ohio.

“I think on Dr. Oz they are going to to talk about other concerns for America”, Conway said.
