Donald Trump taunts claims that Russia hacked DNC emails for him

While the disruption at the Democratic National Convention, fueled by leaked emails, was absent in prime time coverage of the convention, security experts are concerned the DNC hack could have a far greater impact on the election.

” The Democrats gathered in Philadelphia for this afternoon’s Democratic National Convention to officially nominate Hillary Clinton for president”. Clinton has chosen Ka.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager is alleging that Russian hackers are leaking Democratic National Committee emails critical of Bernie Sanders in an effort to help Donald Trump win the election in November.

The FBI said Monday that it is investigating the hack, and that it’s “working to determine the nature and scope of the matter”.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into a recent hacking of the Democratic National Committee.

The disclosure set off devoted Sanders supporters, who were already having a hard time moving past the bitter primary battles to embrace Clinton as the nominee.

“Donald Trump on trade is a phony, and I think we’re going to have to expose him”, Weaver said, adding Trump is a “dangerous candidate” and that third-party voters should unite behind Clinton.

The FBI announced Monday that it has opened an investigation into the hacking of the nearly 20,000 e-mails from the Democratic National Committee which were made public last week by Wikileaks.

On Twitter, Trump said it was “the new joke in town” that Russian Federation led the DNC email hack. “Hillary was involved in the email scandal because she is the only one with judgement (sic) so bad that such a thing could have happened”. The DNC is supposed to stay neutral in primary races. On Friday, three days before the start of the party’s national convention, nearly 20,000 e-mails and other documents stolen in the attack were posted online by WikiLeaks, resulting in the ouster of DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

It wasn’t immediately clear how WikiLeaks got the emails – and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange proudly told Democracy Now! he’d never tell. Security firm Crowdstrike was hired by the DNC to investigate, and it concluded that two separate hacking cells with known ties to the Russian government compromised the DNC’s systems.

A USA official involved in the investigation said that the classified information collected on the hack so far “indicated beyond a reasonable doubt that it originated in Russian Federation”.

‘And what further experts are saying, is that then because they possessed those emails, that Russian state actors were feeding the emails to.hackers for the objective of helping Donald Trump’.

Speculation as to who is behind the cyber attack has pointed to Russia, Donald Trump’s campaign team, and a hacker with the handle “Guccifer 2.0”. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said he couldn’t confirm assessments by private cyber experts accusing Russian Federation that Clinton’s campaign has cited.

Clinton’s campaign, citing a cybersecurity firm hired to investigate the leak, blamed Russian Federation for hacking the party’s computers and suggested the goal was to benefit Donald Trump’s campaign.
