Donald Trump thanks Senator Ted Cruz for USA presidency support
The senator, who drew ire at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in July for not endorsing Trump, said electing Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton would be “wholly unacceptable”. “Mike Lee, who would make an extraordinary justice – and making an explicit commitment to nominate only from that list”, Cruz said.

And by waiting this long to offer an endorsement to Donald Trump, Ted Cruz has shown this to be more about his feelings for the country than his differences with an individual.
“At the end of the day, it’s not about me”, he told Smith. “I mean the whole thing is ridiculous”, Trump said in an interview on “Fox and Friends” the day of the in primary in May. Appointing Cruz to the Supreme Court would be a smart move for both Trump and Cruz. Yes, Trump exchanged insults with just about all of his Republican opponents, and many of them-like “Little Marco” Rubio-ended up endorsing him.
“This man is a pathological liar”. More than a few are likely to take their cue from the stalwart conservative Senator. Trump also backed Cruz’s position in a congressional squabble over internet regulation.
“You think a serial philanderer and pathological liar should be president?” He even threatened to sue Cruz over it. After the applause died down, Cruz recounted how he had told Caroline and Catherine about Trump’s April retweet of a fan who had mocked their mother’s looks. Ted Cruz declined to answer whether or not he believes the billionaire businessman is fit to serve as president.
After initially aligning themselves in pre-primary debates, their relationship devolved after Trump threatened to “spill the beans” on his wife, Heidi, after he claimed Cruz’s campaign shared a racy photo of Melania Trump in an ad targeted to Mormon voters. According to the Tribune, Cruz did not expand on his answer. He faces a possible Senate primary challenge from Texas Representative Michael McCaul, the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee.

Cruz’s announcement came after months of holding out on endorsing the presidential candidate. No matter the decision, “the criticism was going to be: It’s political or self-serving”. As for whether Cruz’s political calculations help or hurt him if he runs for president again in 2020, it’s surely too early to say. Trump, meanwhile, went a more personal route, nicknaming him “Canadian Ted” for his Calgary birthplace and wondering aloud whether that disqualified him from running. Many of those struggling have a high regard for Cruz. Former rivals like Rubio faced a similarly hard choice, but they were all able to issue their muted, stilted endorsements with less fanfare and less waffling. While it isn’t the norm for candidates to release lists of potential picks, Paul Cassell former federal judge and current law professor at the University of Utah says Trump’s list could reassure conservative voters. Within minutes of Cruz’s statement Friday, Trump added yet another flip-flop. The delegates responded by booing Cruz.
