Donald Trump Thriving In The Nation’s Chaos
Despite controversies, criticisms and even a reported attempt by some members of his party to discredit him, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump remains firmly way ahead of his rivals in nationwide polls and still going strong. Donald Trump, a billionaire businessman, is considered to be a promising candidate for the presidential elections, giving tough competition to another hopeful Hillary Clinton. “When the real votes start rolling in, come February, there will be changes, probably significant ones”.
Trump has 36% of registered Republicans in his camp, versus 16% for Sen. This comes despite Trump’s low favorability ratings amongst independents in different polls.
Meanwhile, a whopping 47 percent of all GOP voters think the government should move on a plan advocated by Trump to deport some 11 million immigrants. The sample includes 1,020 adult Americans nationwide and has a margin-of-error of +/- 3 percentage points.
Last month, Trump had 24 per cent, with 23 per cent for Carson.
The poll reflects Trump’s dominance over the rest of the field on the issues voters deem most important to them ranging from economy (55 percent) t illegal immigration (48 percent) to ISIS (46 percent) to foreign policy (30 percent). This shows a long and uphill battle for other Republican candidates against Trump.

More generally, about 4 in 10 Republicans say Trump is the candidate who would be most effective at solving the country’s problems and could best handle the responsibilities of being commander-in-chief.
