Donald Trump to reporter: ‘Go back to Univision’

Ramos pushed the real estate magnate on his controversial immigration plan, as well as Trump’s assertion that he would “win the Latino vote”, despite his inflammatory statements about immigrants. This time around, he refused to answer a question by Jorge Ramos in a press conference and proceeded to send his security to escort the respected Univision journalist out of the room.

TRUMP: He started screaming and I didn’t escort him out.

“You can’t just stand up and scream”.

The billionaire businessman’s immigration proposal has sparked intense debate within the 2016 Republican field.

Ramos was later allowed back into Tuesday’s news conference.

But what most of the crowd didn’t see live was the back and forth with a Univision news anchor that happened in a media presser before trump hit the stage. You can not deny citizenship – Sit down, please. “You weren’t called!” Trump said. “I am a reporter”. “I have a bigger heart than you”. “Certainly he was not [chosen]”, Trump responded.

The network refused to air the partly Trump-controlled Miss Universe pageant last month after the GOP frontrunner said Mexico is sending “rapists” and other criminals to the U.S. But he described recent cases where people had been killed by assailants later determined to be undocumented. It ended with Trump saying, “You and I, we’ll talk”. “I know you’re part of the lawsuit”, he said.

“I don’t know him”. I want them to come back, and I want them to get documentation so they become legal. The move hit a nerve with the Republican candidate, who repeatedly told him to sit back down even as Ramos insisted on asking the question.

He also believes that Trump’s immigration reform plan, which includes deporting the entire families of illegal immigrants, is financially unstable and logically unachievable. But he hinted at some of his thoughts during a free-wheeling rally in the Dubuque convention auditorium that followed the news conference. “It’s creating an excitement”, Tana Goertz, a former contestant on Trump’s show, who is helping organize Trump’s Iowa’s campaign, told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, on Tuesday.
