Donald Trump tries to encourage black voters to elect him

United States presidential candidate Donald Trump released his first television ad of the presidential campaign, saying his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton is synonymous with disorder and illegal immigration. The Clinton campaign was quick to criticise Trump over his alleged past history against the community. This could potentially swing the election in favor of Clinton or Trump.

Mr Trump, whose bid for the White House has been characterised by a series of gaffs, won the nomination by dominating media coverage, Mr Moran said at a U.S. politics event at the Festival of Politics in Edinburgh.

August will see a spike in Trump spending, however, as last week $5m was spent on the first TV adverts.

In an interview with Fox News host Jeanine Pirro, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said that American blacks have “no health care, no education, no anything” and that their lives are “a total catastrophe”.

Every major party presidential candidate since the 1970s has released tax returns.

Donald Trump made jaws drop once again this week when he said African Americans should vote for him in November because they have nothing to lose.
