Directing his pitch to voters who were struggling financially, Biden said, “There’s only one person in this election who will possibly help you, and that is Hillary Clinton”.

“Last week, [Trump] stood in front of a crowd in Florida and said President Obama founded a terrorist organization, ISIL”, Biden said.
Clinton tried to goad Trump into releasing his tax returns on Friday by putting out her and husband Bill’s 2015 income documents into the public.
U.S. Vice President Joe Biden will join Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail on Monday in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
The Clinton campaign had planned the event to focus on the economy, and the two assailed Trump’s plans and touted the Democratic nominee’s own agenda.
However Clinton’s campaign has taken up the issue.
Clinton and Biden had originally been scheduled to campaign together in Scranton in July.
“I know some of you may have friends up here in northeastern pennsylvania who are thinking about voting for Trump (crowd boos) I know. friends should not let friends vote for trump”.
Biden described him as someone who can’t be trusted with nuclear codes. “To keep him from going if the judgment was based on Trump’s decision”.
“Hillary understands the hopes of people in Scranton and Claymont and every Scranton and Claymont in the United States of America”, Biden said referring to his other hometown of Claymont, Del., where his family moved after leaving Scranton.
“He doesn’t seem to want to learn”, Biden added.
Clinton did not address the ongoing email controversy or any of the latest reports about ethical connections between the Clinton Foundation and her leadership of the State Department. CNN’s Jake Tapper pointed out over the weekend that Trump could give the public a glimpse into his bank account by putting out his 2008 documents as they are not being audited by the government. “It’s always good to see you, Evie”, Clinton said. When he observed he was the effusive Irish Catholic and Clinton the more restrained Methodist, he praised her smarts, while underscoring with humor his famously folksy style. Like Trump, Biden is known for speaking his mind in a way that appeals to working-class people. And just look at his budget.
Biden’s takedown Monday came hours after a New York Times story giving the strongest evidence to date of Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort’s ties to pro-Russian business and political interests in Ukraine.
Delaware Democratic Sen. Chris Coons told CNN in a recent interview that there is no one better than Biden at connecting with voters who feel “left out and overlooked”.

“This guy’s shame has no limit”, he said. That makes Biden’s pitch important in cementing her already large statewide lead of 48-37, with a goal of shutting down Trump’s path to the White House. “If my son were still in Iraq, and I say to all those who are there, the threat to their life has gone up a couple clicks”.
