Donald Trump up 3 points in North Carolina
“The more that Donald Trump can stay on message, not get in fights with other Republicans or unnecessary squabbles that squander valuable campaign days between now and November, the less likely that Trump will see Republican incumbents and candidates bailing on him”, Bonjean, a partner at ROKK solutions, said told The Hill in an interview. It’s about defending what he considers his considers his post-presidential life work: The Clinton Foundation.

Clinton, speaking to the press before heading to North Carolina on Thursday, slammed her Republican opponent for his praise Wednesday night of Vladimir Putin and his comments about America’s military leaders.
Donald Trump holds a narrow edge over rival Hillary Clinton in North Carolina, according to a new poll, although almost half of the state’s voters think the Democrat will win the presidency.
Contrasting her long experience in foreign policy with Mr. Trump’s inexperience, Ms. Clinton said: “He says he has a secret plan to defeat ISIS, but the secret is he has no plan”. Trump responded, “Yeah, I guess so”. “But we are not taking any place, anyone, anything for granted”.
A senior adviser said ahead of the speech that Trump would make sure the additional spending was fully paid for but did not explain how.
Clinton said those comments and others showed Trump is ill-equipped to be president.
“I have been somewhat heartened by the number articles recently about the quite disparate treatment of Trump and his campaign compared to ours”.
Addressing the issue head-on at a press conference on Thursday morning in front of her campaign plane in White Plains, New York, Ms Clinton suggested she was sanguine about it.
But Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said what is seen in the photo is merely a reflection of the TV lights or a flash. Her case has been bolstered by numerous Republican national security experts who have spoken out against their party’s nominee, including former Defense Secretary William Cohen who announced his support for Clinton on Wednesday. “I find it frustrating, but it’s part of the landscape we live in”. He’s zeroed in on her controversial email practices at the State Department, calling her private email server “reckless”.
She said the U.S. does not “invade” other countries to “plunder and pillage” and she will not send America’s courageous soldiers to “steal oil”. And for the first time, he opened the door to granting legal status to people living in the USA illegally who join the military.
Hillary Clinton says it was inappropriate for Republican Donald Trump to discuss his intelligence briefing.
With just two months until Election Day, national security has emerged as a centerpiece issue in the White House race.
Trump repeated his claim that he was “against” the Iraq War, an assertion that has been repeatedly debunked.
Donald Trump is insisting he opposed the war in Iraq from the beginning, even though fact checkers have repeatedly said that claim is false.
