Donald Trump visit draws interest of Little Miss Flint
Trump attacked Hillary Clinton, but was scolded by the pastor who invited him.

“Mr. Trump, I invited you here to thank us for what we’ve done in Flint”, she said. The reverend of the church he was speaking at interrupted him and told him to stop making a political speech.
“Oh, oh, oh, okay, that’s good”, replied Mr Trump. Trump then turned back to Flint.
But Trump said he was unbothered that “everyone plays their games”. Join us in a conversation about world events, the newsgathering process or whatever aspect of the news universe you find interesting or important. “He wants to come here and actually just have a photo op”, says Gerald Kariem, director of UAW Region 1D.
“Thank you”, Trump said.
“Hillary failed on the economy”. He is expected to visit a water plant and a church while denouncing the crisis that affected 100,000 people after the city left Detroit’s water supply and started using improperly treated Flint River water.
Timmons, in a statement to The Detroit News, said the church made a decision to welcome Trump to speak as part of their policy of inviting “all people”. Earlier in the year, as the crisis became widely discussed, Trump said he should not comment on the situation. “It just happened. We shouldn’t allow it to happen”, said Trump at the Bethel United Methodist Church.
He then made a few remarks about fixing Flint’s drinking-water issues before departing.
One woman heckling Trump Wednesday interrupted him to raise allegations that he “discriminated against black tenants”, an apparent reference to the Justice Department’s 1973 civil rights lawsuit against Trump and his father’s landlord practices in New York City.
Before the church stop, the Republican nominee visited a water treatment plant that is not now operational.
Trump toured the water plant as part of his visit, over the objections of Flint Mayor Karen Weaver, who was in Washington, D.C., with several members of Michigan’s congressional delegation – Democratic Sens.

“And some of the statements I’ve heard him say about African Americans and Hispanics have been degrading”, Timmons added. Some black leaders have also suggested that Trump’s outreach to minorities is mostly about proving to undecided white voters that he’s not racist.
