Donald Trump Wars With Fox News, Megyn Kelly

Megyn Kelly, touted by Fox News as the conservative network’s sharpest rising star, earned praise from Fox fans and liberals alike after she stared down GOP frontrunner Donald Trump over sexist comments he made in the past.

” I do say this, and I was listening to you folks and Joe before, if you’re going to do that to me I think it’s great, but you have to do it to everybody else or ease it up”, Trump, the Republican presidential front-runner, said. Trump asks, “Excuse me, you DROPPED to your knees?”

Possibly the most controversial statement Trump made was his warning that he could run as an independent if he does not get the Republican nomination.

In fact, it stands as the most-watched television program of the summer so far, beating the last game of the National Basketball Association Finals and the women’s World Cup soccer finals, Nielsen said.

“Senator Paul, you know, the hugs I remember are the hugs that I gave to the families who lost their people on September 11th.” said New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie to Sen. Moderator Megyn Kelly asked Kasich that if he had a child who was gay, how he’d justify his opposition to same-sex marriage.

The New York real estate mogul did not back down from the words, instead pointing out that his response to Kelly – “Only Rosie O’Donnell”, he said after Kelly listed the terms – got the attention of the crowd inside Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena.

By comparison, the first Republican debate of the 2012 primary season averaged 3.3 million viewers.

After it was all over, the governor spoke about his performance on the stage with reporters, including WKBN 27 First News anchor Dave Sess. He called this campaign a “movement” for him and his career. “I really loved hearing her speak & hearing her goals for our country!” At the time Trump responded by saying that the United States is too focused on politically correct language.

“For the record”, Kelly said, “it was well beyond Rosie O’Donnell”.

And in an interview on Morning Joe, he doubled down on his complaints again.
