Both candidates outlined their history of bipartisanship, with Hassan referencing last month’s compromise on the state budget and Ayotte pointing to her opposition to a GOP-led government shutdown.

Obama said he hadn’t been aware of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server, and he thinks the issue has been “ginned up” because of politics. While just 18% of all Democrats and Democrat leaners support Sanders, fully 39% of nonreligious Democrats do, the IBD/TIPP poll found. On the other hand, Sanders gets only 12% support among Christians compared with 44% for Clinton.
