A Republican source with information on Gov. Mike Pence’s travel schedule confirmed to Breitbart News that Pence is Trump’s VP. “If Trump’s own despicable anti-LGBTQ record wasn’t enough, this reality is a vivid reminder of what disaster a Trump-Pence administration would spell for LGBTQ Americans and our allies”.

Still, the Star said it had independently confirmed that Pence “is dropping his re-election bid in IN to become Donald Trump’s running mate”.
This official added that Pence has until noon on Friday to decide whether or not to pull his name off the ballot as governor – something he’d have to do in order to run as Trump VP, because of in law.
Trump’s national campaign spokeswoman, Hope Hicks, said “a decision has not been made”. Pence, who has traditionally eschewed negative campaigning, attacked Clinton for the loss of US personnel in Benghazi and compared Trump to Ronald Reagan.
Trump’s senior communications adviser, Jason Miller, took to Twitter to say Trump will announce his decision on Friday at 11 a.m., as planned.
The timing of a decision is important. Polls show he’s unpopular in his home state of in following a rough first term. Pence is running for re-election as governor and he faces a deadline of noon on Friday to withdraw his candidacy for that office.
“I’m happy for him and happy for the ticket”, said Sen. “He adds a lot of bang to the ticket”. John Barrasso, R-Wyo. “I think he’d be a good choice, but that doesn’t mean the other guys aren’t good choices, too”. “The style, the tone differences will be pretty self-evident”.
All but one of the vice presidential candidates’ names is listed to speak: Pence. He also has deep ties to evangelical Christians and other conservatives, particularly after signing a law a year ago that critics said would have allowed businesses to deny service to gay people for religious reasons.
He also drew severe rebukes for attempting to create a state-run, taxpayer-funded news outlet mocked by critics as “Pravda on the Plains”, plans he abandoned in embarrassment.
And before he came to Congress, Pence hosted a talk radio show, calling himself “Rush Limbaugh on decaf”. Pence is also “deeply religious” and has a reputation as being anti-gay, especially after supporting a controversial religious freedom bill as governor.
In Indiana, meanwhile, Pence gave an economic speech and then waited with his family and advisers for word from Trump.
One Republican close to Pence in Cleveland, the site of the Republican National Convention that starts next week, said the campaign is preparing to announce Pence, but that there was still a last minute change of heart possible.

The two haven’t always seen eye-to-eye on policy, either.
