These services include food, toys and “funding for food pantries, soup kitchens, social services and education programs throughout the year”, the release added.
“The button kind of recognizes that people don’t carry cash anymore”, Salvation Army Board Member James Pope said. “They trust us to live up to our brand promise – to do the most good with every dollar”.
During the walk participants talked about ways the City of Madison can help fulfill the “Pathway of Hope” mission. As an act of thanks for the many joys you have, please donate a gift for a child.

This was his second year of ringing the bells. All shifts are three-hours except the final shift of the day which is two hours.
